I anthropomorphize a lot. I thought this tree looked lonely, excluded and sad. Then I decided it was its choice to stand out and shine. It looks way better like that.

The Vistula river boulevard in Krakow is shrouded in dense fog. Huge blocks of tenement houses melt into it, resembling memories rather than architectural objects. The river merges with the fog, they become one. The boulevard curves gently to the left, disappearing into the distance. One by one, the lampposts along the shore become lower and lower, less and less visible. Into this distant nothingness rides a cyclist, dressed in dark clothes and a white helmet. His dark silhouette contrasts with the grey of the scene.
