Switched from MX to Debian 12 on my notebook.
I quite like having gnome available but it seems to be running with graphical lag now. MX was more friendly to beginner as well.

Switched the desktop environment to XFCE and now its less laggy.

Going back to MX linux as debian seems to have package compatability issues with my downstream ubuntu stuffs.

During switching back I noted that the install was conciderable quicker and easier than debian ^w^
