I tend to avoid SFW artists for an unintuitive reason:

I just don't know where they would draw the SFW/NSFW line regarding Calyo.

Calyo is supposed to be a borderline to blatantly NSFW character. I don't usually prefer barbie/ken doll null and would prefer to see at least some kind of bulge or hints of a package downstairs when "SFW-ish", but I don't always want blatantly exposed gents and especially don't desire depictions of sexual acts.

I don't know where SFW artists draw the line between what they consider counts as NSFW. This distinction is made on an individual basis and what is SFW enough for one may be blatantly NSFW for the next.

Combine that with a bit of rejection sensitive dysphoria, it's overall healthier for me to just stick to artists who are explicitly willing to draw NSFW art, since I can much more confidently ask for bulg but not have it be the blatant focus of the art; it's just there as part of Calyo's form.

Calyo Delphi

That and all of my kinks have an undercurrent of horny to them anyways, so even some SFW(-ish) ideas I have are still a bit NSFW, and I just don't feel comfortable asking SFW artists to draw my fetish(es) in a SFW way. It feels sleazy.

Calyo is a kinksona just as much as she is a furry sona (not ACTUALLY furry, because she is smooth and shiny, but you get the idea) so that by induction makes Calyo borderline NSFW at the tamest of times and varying degrees of blatantly NSFW the rest of the time.
